Your cart is held in your own browser's local storage so it survives a page reload. It is not sent anywhere until you start a checkout.

A completed order — your name, contact and delivery details, and what you bought — is stored in our database (hosted by Neon) so it can be fulfilled, and kept for as long as tax and consumer-protection law requires.

The contact form briefly stores a hash of your IP address, not the address itself, to stop automated spam. That record is deleted after 24 hours.

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics, which measures overall traffic, does not use cookies and does not collect anything that identifies you individually — no name, email or IP address, and nothing is placed in a page URL.

If you submit the contact form, the details you type are emailed to us through Resend, and used only to reply to you.

If you join the mailing list or the waitlist, your details — email for the mailing list; email, phone number and country for the waitlist — are sent directly from your browser to Klaviyo, who we use to send the updates you asked for, and are also kept in our own database. Klaviyo handles that information under its own terms and privacy policy.

At checkout, your name, email, phone number and delivery address are passed to Paystack together with the order so that the payment can be taken and the parcel addressed. Card details are entered on Paystack's own payment page: they never pass through this site and we never see or store them.

If something goes wrong on the site, error details are sent to Sentry so we can fix it. Sentry is configured to strip personal information — names, emails, addresses — from those reports before they're stored.

Every mailing-list message includes an unsubscribe link.

You can ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, using the contact details on the contact page. This is your right under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.

Records connected to a completed order are kept for as long as tax and consumer-protection law requires, which means a deletion request cannot always remove an order history.
